I was helping Dad go through some of Mom's things, and we ran across the shawl I gave her last year for Christmas & the Sophie Bag I gave her in the Spring.
We decided they would come back home with me. I'm not quite sure what I'll do with them yet. Perhaps I'll find someone who can appreciate them; perhaps that will be me.

No ... the blog was MUCH easier than the old one. Blogger has updated their services, and I just migrated mine on over to the beta version.

I agree that you should keep those items for yourself - such a way to honor your mom. I'm still so sorry about your loss.
Hi Julie, Been away from blogging and reading other's blogs, so sorry to hear about the loss of your Mom. It's a great comfort to know she is now home with the Lord. Treasure those gifts of your mom's. When my Grandmother passed away a few years ago, I was gifted with many of her treasures and they really have been a wonderful way to remember her.
